What did you learn about photography that you did not know before? I learned about lots of new photographers that I never knew. A lot about apature, iso and shutter speed. I also learned how to use my camera more and what some of the buttons that were on it such as macro (my favorite and the only one I remember).
What did you learn about yourself during this semester? I learned that I'm not that creative. I am more of a realistic black and white person, I tend to stay in between the box and I don't wander out that often. I also learned that I love to take pictures of people more then things or places. My sister was my little model this whole semester.
What do you wish we had done that we did not? I wish we focused more on the different settings within every camera. The one I remember the most the you taught us was macro, haha, I use it all the time now and I love it so much. I really want to get a really nice big camera but the thing is that I don't really know how to work them.. lol
What was your struggle? I struggled with the alphabet project a lot. As I said a few lines above that I'm not that creative. Even with the paintings that I do, I don't paint abstractly I am more of a realistic painter. But I have started to venture out of the lines a little and explore the world in a new way.
What did you conquer? I don't know if I would say "conquer" I would probably say accomplish, I feel like I have learned a lot about photoshop, so many new things that I can do with my photos now that I never knew before. So I feel I have accomplished the basic first steps of photoshop, and I thank you for that!

Light project: Black & White
During this light project I discovered, struggled, learned, and observed new things. For the most part I had fun shooting this light series, I absolutely love playing with light in photos. For this project something I struggled with was where to find a good place to take photos, for the most part I found myself in my bathroom because there were no windows to let in light. Me, my camera, lamp, object, all in tight quarters. Something that I learned and discovered was that light can effect a photo in a really good way and also in a really bad way, you have to be very careful.
